CSA Week #1 Update

Exciting! Our first week of CSA shares are starting!

Growing organically sure has it challenges, to avoid spraying we use insect netting instead but still some bugs manage to get in and bite the leaves of our crops but don’t worry the crop itself is still yummy and nutritious to eat.

Below is a list of the final harvest for this week. Full shares include all of the below and 1/2 shares receive 5 of the below:

  • Mesclun Mix
  • Mint
  • Hakurei Turnips
  • Radishes
  • Spring Green Onions
  • Bok Choy
  • Garlic Scapes
  • Sweet Sugar Snap Pea’s

We wash most crops that we harvest but please thoroughly wash or rinse them before eating.

We love to re use our boxes, egg cartons, pint containers and elastics so please return for re use. If you are picking up your box you can leave them at the pick up canopy or for delivery you can leave it on your front porch to brought be back.  If you forget no worries the next time is fine or whenever you remember.
