Why Pasture-Raised Eggs Are the Gold Standard

Pastured eggs, are the best for your body, health and the environment.

Our hens roam freely on open pastures, hunt and peck for food, then go back into the hen house at night to roost, nest and lay eggs.

Results suggest that grass pastures may enhance vitamin E in eggs of pastured hens more than clover, and pastured hens supplemented with commercial mash will produce eggs with significantly more vitamin E and total omega-3 fatty acids compared to eggs from caged hens fed only commercial hen mash.

Aside from the health benefits from eating good eggs, our eggs taste better, as you can imagine.

Our eggs are sold in our roadside honour system shack (5807 Fourth Line Eramosa, Rockwood, Ontario) on a first-come, first-served basis for $5/dozen.
